Intoxicated man arrested after lying in pharmacy drive-through.

The homeless man was a ‘danger to himself.’

LUDINGTON — ​A 58-year-old homeless man was arrested by Ludington police for public intoxication Thursday, Aug. 12, shortly after ​4:30 p.m. ​at the Rite Aid drive-through on Ludington Avenue, according to Cpt. Steve Wietrzykowski.

“The man was on Rite Aid property and not able to leave due to his level of intoxication,” said Cpt. Wietrzykowski. “The man was lying on the pavement near the pharmacy drive-through. The man, if left alone, was a danger to himself.”

He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
