PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 39-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on seven failure to appear warrants issued in Oceana County following a reported “suspicious persons” in the area of Sixth Street and Meyers Road Saturday, June 24, at 5:15 a.m., said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“During a check of the area, deputies also located a 42-year-old Mason County man who deputies believed was in possession of several stolen items,” said Sheriff Cole. “An investigation into those items did confirm numerous items had been reportedly stolen.” He was lodged in the Mason County Jail for breaking and entering and larceny.
