Scottville man injured after crash with farm implement.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 21-year-old Scottville man was injured Tuesday morning, July 20, 2021, after the truck he was driving rear-ended a grain wagon in the 700 block of West US 10-31. Emergency personnel were called to the scene, in front of Our Savior Lutheran Church at 7:24 a.m. The crash involved a Chevrolet Silverado pickup and a Case 970 tractor hauling two loaded grain wagons en-route to Acres Co-op.

The driver of the pickup was transported to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital with injuries. The driver of the tractor was uninjured.

Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office were still investigating the crash.

Responding emergency units included MCSO, Scottville Fire Department, Custer Fire Department, and Life EMS.
