Drunk man standing in road refusing to move for cars arrested.

LUDINGTON — A 30-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Ludington police for disorderly conduct Sunday, July 12, around 4:30 a.m. for “standing in the public roadway, intoxicated and refusing to move for cars,” said Cpt. Steve Wietryzkowski.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Melendy Street, said Cpt. Wietryzkowski.  He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Friday, July 9, 2021:

– 10:36 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 26-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving without a license, Fifth and Taylor​ streets, City of Ludington.

Saturday, July 10, 2021:

– 1:55 a.m., (LPD), a​ 26-year-old Ludington man was arrested on two local warrants, Ludington Avenue and Rowe​ Street, City of Ludington.  One warrant was for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended (DWLS) charge, and the other warrant was a felony warrant for possession of methamphetamines. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

– 11:10 a.m., (LPD), ​a 63-year-old Ludington woman was cited for driving without a license, First Street and Conrad Industrial​ Drive, City of Ludington.

– Noon, (Michigan State Police), a motorcycle was reported stolen following a breaking and entering, 8000 block of East Kinney Road, Logan Township. The case is under investigation.

Sunday, July 11, 2021:

– 9:29 a.m,. (LPD), ​a 38-year-old Ludington man was cited for DWLS, Foster and Madison ​streets, City of Ludington.

– 10:45 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Sugar Grove Road near Schoenherr Road, Sheridan Township.

Monday, July 12, 2021:

– 5:30 a.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 10 near Tuttle Road, Custer Township.
