Fire damages Ludington home.

LUDINGTON — Firefighters from Ludington Fire Department and Pere Marquette Fire Department responded to a house fire at 104 W. Whittier St. early Monday morning. Initial dispatch information stated the house was fully engulfed in flames. Its sole occupant was able to get out of the house safely. She was checked out by EMS personnel and did not seek medical treatment. 

Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire, which was dispatched at 12:23 a.m. The fire caused considerable damage to the house. Assistance for the female occupant was being requested by the Mason County Fire Relief Fund. 

Ludington Police Department also responded to the scene.
