LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

VandenHeuvel

-Joshua Kurt VandenHeuvel, 37, of 702 E. Ludington Ave., Apt. 2, Ludington, was arrested June 6 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on a felony charge of first degree home invasion. Probable cause hearing: July 7 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $75,000 cash.

Yates

-Rojelio Cody Yates, 32, of 9479 Belding Rd. NE2, Rockford, was arrested June 4 by the Scottville Police Department (SPD) on a felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon, on June 30 by the Ludington Police Department (LDP) on a felony charge of assault/resisting/obstructing police, and on June 11 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy) and fourth offense habitual offender. Probable cause hearing: July 14 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $25,000 cash.

Allen

-David James Allen, 38, of 500 Glenn Oaks Dr., Muskegon, was arrested June 30 by MCSO on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance (narcotic/cocaine) and fourth offense habitual offender. Probable cause hearing: July 14 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000 cash.

Wcisel

-Carley Ann Wcisel, 23, of 1444 N. Custer Rd., Sherman Township, was arrested June 30 by MCSO on a felony charge of assault/resisting/obstructing police. Probable cause hearing: July 14 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500 cash.

Mozader

-Michael James Mozader, 19, of 1218 S. Madison St., Ludington, was arrested June 25 by LPD on a felony charge of third-degree fleeing from police. Probable cause hearing: July 7 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500 cash.

Bailey

-Blake Edward Bailey, 41, of 908 E. Russell St., Ludington, was arrested June 23 by LDP on a felony charge of third-offense operating a vehicle while under the influence of liquor (OUIL). Probable cause hearing: July 7 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $750 cash.

 

 

Misdemeanors

-Scott James Henke, 40, of 107 E. Pere Marquette St., Ludington; June 19; Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO); operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: TBD. Bail: $250 cash

-Seth Daniel Thompson, 19, of 4414 E. Barothy Rd., Custer Township; June 28; MCSO; OWI. Pretrial: July 26 at 9 a.m. Bail: $250 cash.

-Mindy Lynn Smith, 34, of 608 N. Rowe St., Apt. B3, Ludington; June 26; LPD, domestic violence. Pretrial: TBD. Bail: $250 cash.

-Anthony Lee Tenney, 21, of 211 S. Dryden St., Hart; June 26; MCSO; operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level of .17 or more. Pretrial: TBD. Bail: $250 cash.-Guadalupe Zamora Rangel, 75, of 5757 N. Victory Park Rd., Victory Township; June 27; MCSO; larceny less than $200. He was also arrested June 19 by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for illegally taking deer/bear/turkey. Pretrial: July 12 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance. 

-Camilla Jean Chatman, 24, of 319 Third St., Manistee; Sept. 4, 2020; MCSO; driving while license suspended. Pretrial: July 12 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $250 cash.

-April Dawn Beck, 44, of 902 N. Washington Ave., Apt. 8, Ludington; June 26; LPD; assault and battery. Pretrial: July 12 at 10 a.m. Bail: $250 cash.
