MCC to hold community forum Tuesday.

SCOTTVILLE — Mason County Central Schools will hold a community forum on Tuesday, June 8 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. The forum will be an informal discussion about school facilities, with a focus on past, present and future visioning.

During a March board of education meeting, Superintendent Jeff Mount discussed seeking a millage renewal to address facility needs. The current millage was originally passed by voters in 2006 which funded the construction of the upper elementary school, expansion of the high school, including building the gymnasium, along with improvements to the middle school and Scottville Elementary.
