Scottville man arrested for soliciting prostitution, CSC.

SCOTTVILLE —  A 54-year-old Scottville man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies on charges of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct and solicitation for prostitution “after he reportedly offered a female money for sex and then allegedly grabbed her inappropriately when she refused his advances,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The incident occurred Saturday, May 30, around noon in the 100 block of West State Street in the City of Scottville, Cole said.

Francisco Lujano Paniagua, who’s address, according to the courts is in the 500 block of North Thomas Street, Scottville, was arraigned in 79th District Court on a high-court misdemeanor of fourth-degree CSC — force or coercion. Paniagua is scheduled for a probable cause hearing June 9 at 11:15 a.m. His bail was set at $7,500/cash/surety/10 percent.
