Man found passed out behind the wheel arrested for OWI.

SUMMIT TOWNSHIP — A 38-year-old Custer man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies Tuesday, May 11, shortly after 8 a.m. “following a call of a person passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle in the roadway,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The man was found at the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Basswood Road. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

The sheriff’s office also responded to a two-vehicle crash Tuesday shortly before 2 p.m. at the intersection of US 10 and Jebavy Drive in Pere Marquette Township. No one was injured.
