LUDINGTON — Every year US News and World Reports magazine ranks the best high schools around the state and nation. Ludington High School earned the distinction of one of America’s Best High Schools for a fifth consecutive year. The rankings are based on performance on state-required tests, graduation rate and how well the school prepares students for college.

This year Ludington High School was ranked #85 out of 1,149 high schools in Michigan. This places LHS in the top 7% of high schools in the state and the top 14% nationally.

This is an entire LASD team effort from PreK through High

School,” said LHS Principal Dan Mesyar “We are very proud and believe this honor reflects the hard work and support of our students, staff, and community. Offering a full comprehensive high school experience with high expectations and robust supports is a top priority. We are very happy with this award, but know we must continue to improve to ensure we reach all students.”
