New Ludington treasurer begins duties.

LUDINGTON — Mari Jo Lange has assumed the duties of Ludington city treasurer, taking over for Tom Ezdebski, who retired at the end of 2020. Lange was elected to the office, running on a write-in campaign. There were no other formal candidates.

She said she grew up in Zeeland, Michigan and has lived in Ludington for over 10 years. She has three grown daughters, two grandchildren, with another on the way, according to a post on the City of Ludington Facebook page. Since moving to Mason County, she has worked for West Shore Bank and also served as a deputy treasurer and chief deputy treasurer for Mason County.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the taxpayers in the City of Ludington,” she said.
