SUMMIT TOWNSHIP — A report will be forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office following a 911 call reporting an assault and a larceny of a cell phone Tuesday, Dec. 29, shortly after 6:30 a.m. in the 5000 block of South Pere Marquette Highway, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. “The victim and reported suspect are related,” said Sheriff Cole. “The reported suspect left the scene prior to the arrival of Mason County sheriff’s deputies.”
