Man found sleeping in closet arrested for trespassing, public intoxication.

LUDINGTON — A 48-year-old Ludington man was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 16, shortly after 10 a.m. for trespassI ng and public intoxication at the Longfellow Towers apartment complex on East Court Street after he was found sleeping in a utility closet, said Cpt. Steve Wietrzykowski of the Ludington Police Department.
The man was found in the closet by apartment management. “He had received a prior trespass notice in April to stay off Longfellow Towers property,” said Wietrzykowski. “The man claimed he had been let in the building by a Longfellow Towers resident he knows.”
He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

– 12:10 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 27-year-old Hart man was arrested for domestic violence and interfering with electronic communications following a 911 call reporting an assault, 5800 block of West Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
– 5:46 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of Oceana Drive, Summit Township.
– 7:30 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Gordon Road, Amber Township.
– 1:34 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $8 in fuel stolen, Ludington EZ Mart, 5900 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
– 6:44 p.m., (LPD), a 32-year-old Ludington man was arrested on three outstanding warrants and for resisting arrest, 600 block of East Melendy Street, City of Ludington. The man was lodged in the Mason County Jail after a foot pursuit. Two warrants were from the 79th District Court in Ludington for failure to appear, and a third warrant was from the 60th District Court in Muskegon for failure to appear.
– 10:17 p.m., (MCSO), a 22-year-old Baldwin woman was arrested on a felony probation violation warrant from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, US 10 and Reek Road, Custer Township.
