Domestic assault arrests top police activity.

LUDINGTON — Ludington police officers arrested two suspects in separate incidents for domestic assault overnight, and one of the assault victims was arrested for violating bond, according to Cpt. Steve Wietrzykowski of the Ludington Police Department.

The first incident occurred Tuesday, Dec. 15, shortly after 10 p.m. in the 600 block of East Melendy Street. A 21-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for domestic assault and battery after allegedly assaulting three victims who sustained minor injuries.

The second incident occurred Wednesday, Dec. 16, shortly after 4 a.m. in the 800 block of South Madison Street​. A 38-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic assault and battery. The victim, who is a 48-year-old Ludington woman, was found to be in violation of recent 79th District Court bond conditions. She sustained minor injuries.

The offenders were lodged in the Mason County Jail.
