WSCC to host COVID-19 economic impact forum.

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — West Shore Community College will host a virtual panel discussion about the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the local economy and businesses on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m.

The panelists include Jamie Adam, sales and events manager of Ludington Bay Brewing Company; Stacie Bytwork, president of the Manistee Area Chamber of Commerce; Jen Tooman, marketing and communications manager of the Downtown Ludington Board; and Adam Wagner, owner of Wagner Home and Outdoor.

Panelists will address how businesses have responded and adapted to the public health crisis, operating with decreased revenues, and the possibility of having to temporarily suspend or close a business.

The discussion will use the Zoom web conferencing platform.  Pre-registration is encouraged so attendees can submit their questions for panelists in advance of the online presentation.  To register, visit the college’s web site, www.westshore.edu, and find the event listed on the events calendar or check out the college’s Facebook page.
