Scottville senior center to re-open Monday.

SCOTTVILLE — After being closed since March, the Scottville Area Senior Center will reopen for visitors Monday, November 2 at 9 a.m. Initially the center will be open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Reservations are requested for lunch and activities, as there are capacity limits. For information and reservations, call the center at 231-757-4705.

Activities will be limited to those who can be done individually and with proper separation. Masks covering both mouth and nose are required for all visitors.  Other safety precautions will include hand sanitizing and washing, physical distancing and temperature checks.

The center has been operating throughout the pandemic—providing its normal county-wide services such as homemaker, respite and medical transportation. Activities have been held at the Riverside Park pavilion or, in the case of food box distribution, outside the center building.
