Sunset bonfire cancelled.

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Area Convention and Visitors Bureau has cancelled another sunset bonfire. The bonfire scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 27 at Stearns Park beach has been cancelled due to Gov. Whitmer’s executive order prohibiting gatherings of more than 100 people outdoors.

“We are disappointed to again have to cancel one of our favorite events,” said Brandy Miller, Executive Director of the Ludington Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), “but we feel a responsibility to do our part to help keep our community safe.”
