Rhythm & Dunes cancelled for 2020.

LUDINGTON — West Shore Bank’s Rhythm & Dunes free summer concert series scheduled for later this summer has been cancelled due to the pandemic.

“The decision to postpone the concert series was not made lightly,” said Raymond A. Biggs, president and CEO. “The health and safety of our communities, volunteers, vendors, and visitors was the primary concern. For an event that has drawn one of the largest crowds in the Ludington area, difficulty in maintaining effective social distancing is a factor the Bank took into consideration.

“West Shore Bank takes extreme pride in providing this community event each year and supporting young musicians in the area, Bringing people together for a worthy cause has been part of our mission to make a difference in our communities, but we feel it is also our responsibility, as a community leader, to protect the health and safety of our local and visiting community members.”

West Shore Bank would like to sincerely thank our communities, local high school volunteers, food vendors, bands, Bank employees and Rhythm & Dunes fans for their continued dedication to support local high school music programs and coming together for the cause of music.

The two bands scheduled for the 2020 show have been rescheduled for 2021: Landsharks Band will perform on July 24, 2021 and Mega 80s will perform on July 31, 2021.
