Dear Editor,

Lakeshore Food 4 Kids is a wonderful program in the Ludington schools. They provide weekend food for kids who need help in all grades, K-12, throughout the school year. With the closure of schools currently, this program has been even more vital. I was thrilled to find out that they were the recipients of the 21st annual Ludington Lake Jump!

This year’s jump has been recreated and the whole month of May people can raise money and “jump where you are!” My whole family and I jumped into Hamlin Lake! What fun to be able to choose our own place, jump as a family, make some memories and raise money for such a worthy program. I would encourage anyone willing, to go “jump where you are” for this year’s Lake Jump.

Even better yet, support those who have jumped by sending in a donation: $150 provides the food for one child for the school year. www.lakejump.org has a paypal button making donations easy! Every donation makes a difference!

Thank you,
Stephanie Reed
