Three suspects being sought in unsuccessful ATM robbery.

NORMAN TOWNSHIP, (Manistee County) – The Manistee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking three suspects who allegedly tried to rob an ATM machine at the Osceola State Bank Sunday night, April 19, according to Manistee County Undersheriff Brian Gutowski.

“When deputies arrived, they observed the ATM machine had been removed from the lobby of the bank and was heavily damaged lying on the sidewalk,” states Gutowski. “The three suspects were unable to gain entry to the ATM and no money was taken.”

The trio fled the scene eastbound on M 55 in a blue Ford F-150 pickup truck.

The truck has damage to the passenger side rear bumper, Gutowski said. “There is also a truck bed toolbox that spans across the truck bed. The rims are aluminum with no lug-nut covers. On the back sides of the truck box, there is the Ford model logo FX4 with FX in red lettering.”

It is believed the same suspects broke into a business in Irons the same night. The Lake County
Sheriff’s Office is handling the break-in case.

If you recognize the truck or any of the suspects, contact the Manistee County Sheriff’s Office at 231-723-6241.
