Send us your journals of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

By Rob Alway, Editor-in-Chief.

As we have entered the third week of the COVID-19 Pandemic in Michigan, I have been thinking about the historical significance of this event. Mason County Historical Society has already been collecting news articles and asking people to keep journals. I think this is a great idea. I would like to encourage you to submit your journals to Mason County Press. We will post them on our site and then also relay them to the historical society.

I started writing my own journal. It is not so much a day to day diary of events, but more an overview of what life has been like and some of my feelings and activities during this time. When the time is right, I will post it here on MCP.

You are certainly welcome to create your recollections any way you would like, of course. You amay submit them frequently or just when the entire crisis is over.

Photographs are always a good addition as well.

Please send your journals to editor@masoncountypress.com. In the subject line write: COVID-19 Journal and your name.

Please note that Mason County Press reserves the right to edit for style purposes.
