Metalworks Employee of the Month: Christine Hayes

Christine Hayes has worked for Metalworks for over 20 years. “I love working for a family owned business,” she said about her job. “The Paine family shows concern, not only for their employees, but the communities in which we all live. This sense of family and community flows through the hearts of my co-workers. What a warm work environment this creates!

Hayes was nominated by Kathy Darke.

“Christine has gone above and beyond since our director of human resources retired, stepping up and taking care of all the HR needs of our plant and its employees- making time to discuss issues with employees while balancing meetings, payroll, insurance, etc.,” Darke said. “Although she is currently a one ‘man’ department she makes sure to get others involved to keep up plant happenings and many of the events we sponsor such as the United Way campaign. Christine is a rock and can’t say enough about what she has done for us here, over the years and especially in this last year.”
