Man rescued after falling from shoreline cliff.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Emergency personnel were called to assist a man who fell down a cliff along the Lake Michigan shoreline Thursday, Feb. 6. Personnel were called to Lakeshore Drive between Iris and Bradshaw roads about 8:45 a.m. A man was apparently walking in the area known locally as “Peter Pan Land” when he slipped off the cliff. He was uninjured.

Pere Marquette Township, Mason County Sheriff’s Office, and Michigan State Police Hart Post responded to the scene and were able to assist the man using ropes.
