Tuesday crash victims identified.

The victims of two separate crashes that occurred on Mason County highways Tuesday have been identified.

Michael Molina, 48, of Branch was seriously injured after the Buick LaSbre he was driving lost control and collided with a Ford F-150 driven by Holly Lafleur, 49, of Manistee. The crash occurred about 9 a.m. on US 31 north of Fountain Road in Victory Township. Molina was driving northbound and Lafleur was traveling southbound.

Lafleur received minor injuries. Both were transported by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital. Molina was then transferred to Mercy Health Hackley Hospital in Muskegon.

David Dwyer, 35, of Fountain was seriously injured when the 2006 Ford Fusion he was driving apparently lost control on US 10 and collided with a 2002 Kenworth semi-truck, carrying logs. The semi truck was driven by Charles Vanduinen, 67, of Lake City. Vanduinen was not injured, nor were the passengers in Dwyer’s vehicle, ages 30 and 5. The crash occurred about noon on US 10 east of Wever Road in Walhalla, Branch Township.

Emergency units responding to the US 31 crash included MCSO, Michigan State Police, Fountain Area Fire Department, Free Soil/Meade Fire Department, Grant Fire Department, Life EMS and Pere Marquette Township Fire Department. Mason County Road Commission was also assisted.

Emergency units responding to the US 10 crash included MCSO, Michigan State Police, Branch Fire Department, Custer Fire Department and Life EMS. The Mason County Road Commission was also on scene.
