Eastern side of county without power

Currently most of the east side of Mason County is without power, including Scottville, Custer, Fountain, Free Soil and Walhalla.

The outage’s western boundaries appear to be in the area of Dennis Road.

The source of the outage has not yet been identified but Scottville Fire Department has been called to reports of arching wires on US 10/31 west of the city and possibly a blown transformer at the West Shore Educational Service District’s offices on US 10/31 east of Stiles Road.
