Grant workshop scheduled.

LUDINGTON — Nonprofit charitable organizations serving the Mason County region are eligible to apply for a grant from the Community Foundation for Mason County.

To learn more about the application process, the foundation is hosting a free Grant Seekers Workshop, Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 11 a.m. (note that time was initially reported as 10 a.m.) at the Lakeshore Resource Network, 920 E. Tinkham Avenue. No advance registration necessary.

The spring grant deadline is February 28, and representatives from area nonprofits are encouraged to attend the workshop to learn about the foundation’s funding priorities and the online application.  All applications are submitted through the foundation’s website at www.mason-foundation.org/grants.

Proposals will be considered in the following areas: arts, community development and revitalization, education, environment, health and human services, children ages 0 – 5, and emerging community needs.
