AMBER TOWNSHIP — A passenger in the suspect vehicle of a hit-and-run crash — a 24 year-old Ludington man — was arrested for disorderly conduct after he disobeyed numerous orders by Mason County sheriff’s deputies to get off the highway Wednesday, Dec. 18, shortly after noon on the US 31 on-ramp at US 10, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“He was intoxicated,” Cole said.

The driver — a 22-year-old Ludington man — was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant and for driving without a license following a two-vehicle crash near Walmart on US 10. “The driver left the scene, but was followed by the other driver,” Cole said.
