3 departments respond to Logan Twp. fire.

LOGAN TOWNSHIP — Three fire departments responded to a house fire at 6319 W. Outer Loop Dr., near Whiskey Creek Resort, Tuesday morning. Upon arrival, firefighters reported smoke was coming from the single-wide house trailer’s eaves. They were able to quickly extinguish the fire.

Initial dispatch information stated that a candle in a bedroom caused the fire, however, the Michigan State Police was called to the scene to further investigate.

Responding fire units included Carr Community Fire Department, Branch Township Fire Department, and Custer Fire Department.
