Updates on Stiles Road, Sugar Grove Road projects.

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — Stiles Road between Hansen and Fisher roads will be open to traffic on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The water main installation project to West Shore Community College will then continue along Stiles Road between Fisher and Sugar Grove roads where traffic will be reduced to one lane. The work is anticipated to take about two weeks, according to Eric Nelson, Mason County Road Commission county highway engineer.

Sugar Grove Road between US 31 and Stiles Road will be open to through traffic beginning Thursday, Sept. 26, Nelson said. Gravel widening is complete and the existing asphalt road, which is between 22- to 23-feet wide will be widened to 28-feet wide. The final asphalt paving will take about three to four days to complete, but the asphalt paving dates are currently not available.

SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP — Sugar Grove Road between Schoenherr and Morse roads (Bachelor) was opened to all traffic on Saturday following completion of the railroad crossing.
