The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019:

  • 8:15 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 42-year-old Scottville man was arrested on a fugitive warrant, US 10 and Stiles Road, Amber Township.

Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019:

  • 3:33 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road south of Hawley Road, Eden Township.
  • 12:32 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 24-year-old Ludington man was cited for improper plates, 200 block of East Melendy Street, City of Ludington.
  • 1:36 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Forest Trail, Free Soil Township.
  • 3:29 p.m., (MSP), two-vehicle crash, US 10 and Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 6:55 p.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, minor injury, White and LaSalle roads, Grant Township.
  • 10:29 p.m., (LPD), a 29-year-old Scottville man was cited for driving with an expired license, Stearns Road, City of Ludington.
