Man sentenced to jail for heroin, maintaining drug house.

LUDINGTON – A 32-year-old Ludington man was sentenced in 51st Circuit Court Tuesday, June 11, to serve seven months up front of a nine-month discretionary jail term for heroin possession and maintaining a drug house.

Thomas Donald Shepard, Jr., of 501 N. Lavinia St., was also sentenced to 18 months probation.

Shepard was arrested last February by the State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotic Team (SSCENT).
