The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Wednesday, June 5, 2019:

– 8:04 a.m., (Michigan State Police), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Pere Marquette Highway and Oceana Drive, Summit Township.

– 12:20 p.m., (MSP), a 38-year-old Hesperia woman was arrested on a warrant, 400 block of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.

– 3:11 p.m., (MSP), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, 400 block of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.

Thursday, June 6, 2019:

– 7:23 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), one-vehicle crash, minor injury, Pere Marquette Highway south of Chauvez Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 2:35 p.m., (MSP), a 40-year-old Bitely woman was arrested for operating without insurance and operating without a license, US 10 and Gordon Road, Amber Township.

– 4:01 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 60-year-old Whitmore Lake man was arrested for assault, 600 block of North William Street, City of Ludington.

– 5:51 p.m., (MSP), a 19-year-old West Olive woman was arrested for assault, Benson Road and Marshall Street, Branch Township.

– 7:06 p.m., (MCSO), a report will be forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office following an altercation between a 29 year-old Fountain man and 32 year-old Fountain man in which punches were allegedly thrown, North Cleveland Street, Village of Fountain.

– 9:53 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Chauvez Road east of Tuttle Road, Eden Township.
