AMBER TOWNSHIP – A 41-year-old Scottville woman was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies for violating bond Friday, May 17, at 9:30 p.m. on First Street near Amber Road “following a 911 call reporting an intoxicated woman walking down the middle of the road yelling and throwing items in the road,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“Upon making contact, the female was found to be out of jail on bond and intoxicated, which was a violation of her bond,” Cole said.

The victim reported an individual attempted to pass a $100 bill that was found to be counterfeit. “The individual cooperated with the store and advised they had received the bill at another business locally when cashing a paycheck,” said Cole. The case is closed.
