Spartan Spring to benefit MCC Middle School PTC.

SCOTTVILLE — The 2019 Spartan Sprint 1 mile fun run/obstacle course and 5K run will be held Saturday, May 4 at 1 p.m. at Riverside Park cross-country course.

The event is a fund raiser for the recently formed Mason County Central Middle School PTC and open to the public.

One mile event entry is $5 per person; 5K entry is $20 per person. Entry includes a commemorative buff. Entry for MCC Middle School students is by pledge.

The 5K will begin about 2 p.m., following the 1 mile event.

Sign up will take place the day of the event. Medals for the 5K will be awarded to the first two places of women, men, separately in categories ages under 18; 19-30; 31-50; 50 and over.

In case of inclement weather, race will be held Sunday, May 5 at 1 p.m.
