April is Youth Month at Safe Harbor Credit Union.

LUDINGTON — The official theme for the 2019 National Credit Union Youth Month is “The Future is Yours… Picture it! Save for it! Share it!”. This theme encourages young members to look forward to their futures, picture their goals, and learn how to save their money to chase their dreams. This April, celebrate National Credit Union Youth Month in the lobby at Safe Harbor Credit Union, 1200 E. Tinkham Ave. There will be a photo shoot in the lobby, guessing games, giveaways, and all sorts of fun in our lobby all month long.

Don’t forget, Safe Harbor still pay for As if students bring in their report cards. The credit union also has a 5% youth CD for individuals under the age of 18.

During the month of April, Safe Harbor staff will be going into schools teaching financial literacy and teaching the youngest kids at daycares the importance of saving money. Since it is also financial literacy month there will be different businesses teaching the students about the importance of saving, budgeting, and protecting credit scores.

At the end of the month, Friday, April 26, the credit union will serve cake and punch in the lobby to celebrate the youth. There will also be drawings for youth to win some money.
