GRANT TOWNSHIP – A 36-year-old Manistee man wanted on an outstanding warrant was in “hot water” Tuesday night, Feb. 5, after Mason County sheriff’s deputies found him hiding in a shower.

The man was arrested at 11:30 p.m. on the outstanding warrant issued in Manistee County, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Deputies responded to a residence in the 3700 block of West Sass Road following an investigation into a “disturbance” call that escalated to a “threats” call, the sheriff said. “Those creating the disturbance made threats to the complainant upon learning law enforcement had been called. During the investigation, deputies learned a male subject involved was wanted out of Manistee County. He was found hiding in a shower.”
