SCOTTVILLE — The city of Scottville will celebrate Christmas events on Saturday, Dec. 8. Activities begin with breakfast with Santa at North Country Cafe, 110 N. Main St. from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The Scottville Optimist Club will host a kids’ Christmas party beginning at 1 p.m. at the Optimist Center, 105 E. Green St., featuring Santa, games, prizes, tree decoration making, punch and cookies.

A Christmas tree lighting will take place in the pocket park beginning at 3 p.m.

The Mason County Central High School band will perform at the Scottville Area Senior Center, 140 S. Main St. from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.  Hot chocolate and cookies will be served.
