Sheriff: 14 car/deer crashes in last two days.
MASON COUNTY – The Mason County Sheriff’s Office responded to 14 car/deer crashes in the last two days, according to Sheriff Kim Cole.
The following is recent MCSO activity:
Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018:
– 1:33 a.m., a 24-year-old Hart man was cited following a traffic stop for driving while license suspended, Pere Marquette Highway and Iris Road, Pere Marquette Township.
– 4:13 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 and Meyers Road, Amber Township.
– 5:49 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road north of Mavis Road, Sherman Township.
– 6:58 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway near the Pere Marquette Highway off-ramp, Pere Marquette Township.
– 6:58 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Lakeshore Drive north of Olmstead Road, Summit Township.
– 7:30 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Fountain Road near Petersen Road, Victory Township.
– 12:40 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive and Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
– 1:50 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of the Conrad Road overpass, Amber Township.
– 4:57 p.m., a 28-year-old Ludington man was arrested at the sheriff’s office on an absconder warrant out of the Michigan Department of Corrections, City of Ludington.
– 5:53 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Scottville and Conrad roads, Amber Township.
– 8:05 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 north of Johnson Road, Amber Township.
– 8:13 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive south of King Road, Pere Marquette Township.
– 9:03 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Decker Road east of Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township.
Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018:
– 5:50 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 and Gordon Road, Amber Township.
– 12:55 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Free Soil Road west of Campbell Road, Meade Township.
– 7:30 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 north of Johnson Road, Amber Township.
– 10:25 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road west of US 31, Victory Township.
