Fountain Horse Pull fundraising events Oct. 20, 21. 

FOUNTAIN — The Fountain Chamber of Commerce is holding two weekend events to help raise funds for the annual Memorial weekend Fountain Horse Pull.

A cornhole tournament will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Sherman Township Hall, 3854 E. Main St. Sign up begins at noon with competition beginning at 1 p.m. Cost is $10 per person.

The event will also include a fresh baked pie sale, gift raffles, and 50/50 raffle.

All proceeds will support the 2019 Fountain Horse Pull and tow/fuel fund.

A Harvest Dinner will be held on Sunday, Oct. 21 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Sherman Township Hall. The event will include dinner, dessert and beverage at a cost of $10 per person ages 12 and older, $5 for children ages 4 to 11. Kids ages 3 and under are free. Take out is available.

The event will also include horse drawn hay rides, 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction, checker tournament, and kids games. Proceeds will go towards the horse pull weight sled.
