Ludington school board to consider hiring new 3rd grade teacher.

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Area Schools Board of Education will consider hiring a new third grade teacher when it meets for its regular meeting tonight. Sarah Hodges is being recommended for the position. Hodges received her bachelor’s degree of fine arts from Michigan State University, majoring in special education and learning disabilities with an emphasis in elementary education.

The board will also consider approving the school’s milk bid to Prairie Farms for $57,908.04 and its bread bid to Aunt Millie’s for $14,945.10. The vendors were used during the 2017-2018 school year as well.

The board meets at 6 p.m. at the Central Business Office, 809 E. Tinkham Ave.
