Women arrested for crack, meth and marijuana after ‘acting oddly’ in gas station.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Two Muskegon women, ages 45 and 23, were arrested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Monday, Aug. 6, at 9:19 a.m. for possession of crack cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana at the Ludington EZ Mart on West US 10 after deputies received a report of “two subjects acting oddly” in the gas station, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
“The responding deputy located suspected meth, crack cocaine and marijuana in their possession,” Cole said.
Other police activity in Mason County Monday, Aug. 6, includes:
– 7:55 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of Oceana Drive, Summit Township.
– 8:30 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, with injury, US 31 freeway near the Chauvez Road overpass, Pere Marquette Township. A 21-year-old Muskegon woman received non-life-threatening injuries after the vehicle she was operating lost control while heading northbound on US 31, went off the road and struck a tree.
– 4:09 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 13-year-old Scottville girl was apprehended for domestic violence, 100 block of East Second Street, City of Scottville.
– 4:44 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $10.01 in fuel stolen, 5400 block of West US 10 — Airport EZ Mart, Pere Marquette Township.
– 9:15 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Washington Road east of Scottville Road, Eden Township.
– 9:26 p.m., (MCSO), a 17-year-old Ludington man was arrested for driving while license suspended and bond violation following a traffic stop, US 10 and Stiles Road, Amber Township.
– 10:08 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, St. Mary’s Lake Public Access, Riverton Township. A 54-year-old Pentwater woman was cited for failure to report a crash.
