Large equipment move to cause slow-downs. 

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Consumers Energy will be moving large pieces of equipment Friday, July 27, and Monday, July 30 beginning on Pere Marquette Highway, traveling south from First Street to Iris Road, west to Lakeshore Drive and then to the pumped storage facility. The moves will take place between 7:30 and 11 a.m. each day.  The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is asking motorists to avoid the area during those times.
