Deputies arrest woman lying in road screaming obscenities.

BRANCH TOWNSHIP — A 22-year-old Walhalla woman was arrested for disorderly person Saturday, July 21, at 3:42 a.m. in the 200 block of Gibson Road after Mason County sheriff’s deputies responded to an “intoxicated person” call.

“Responding deputies found the subject lying in the roadway screaming obscenities,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Friday, July 20, 2018:

– 6:45 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 west of Tuttle Road, Custer Township.

– 7:10 a.m., (MCSO) car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 north of Chauvez Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 9:40 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Ellis Road near Russell Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 2:15 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 35-year-old Bitely man was arrested on a warrant, Kinney Road, Logan Township.

– 4:03 p.m., (MCSO), a 28-year-old Ludington man was arrested for parole violation, 6400 block of Linden Road, Hamlin Township.

– 5:40 p.m., (MCSO), a 38 year-old Ludington man was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS) and possession of marijuana “after he nearly struck a marked MCSO patrol unit head-on that was stopped in the center turn lane waiting to make a left turn onto the US 31 freeway,” said Sheriff Cole. The incident occurred on US 10 near the US 31 onramp, Amber Township.

– 6:30 p.m., (MSP), a 34-year-old Scottville man was arrested for domestic violence, Millerton Road near North Forest Lane, Sherman Township.

– 9:15 p.m., (MCSO), an 18-year-old Scottville man was cited for minor in possession of alcohol (MIP), and a warrant is being requested through the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office for a 47-year-old Fountain woman for furnishing alcohol to minors following a 911 call reporting a loud party, 300 block of South Gibson Road, Branch Township.

– 10:15 p.m., (MCSO), a 34-year-old Branch man was arrested following a traffic stop for third-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI) and second-offense DWLS, First Street and Adams Road, Branch Township.

Saturday, July 21, 2018:

– 8 a.m., (MCSO), a 23-year-old Mission, Texas man was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant out of the Ludington Police Department following a traffic stop, US 31 and Dewey roads, Victory Township.

– 10:30 a.m., (MCSO), larceny from vehicle, 5300 block of West Broadway, Summit Township. The victim reported the theft of a chainsaw and fishing pole from his vehicle.

– 10:30 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive south of Fountain Road, Hamlin Township.

– 1:52 p.m., (MSP), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10 near North Dennis Road, Amber Township.

Sunday, July 22, 2018:

– 12:33 p.m., (MSP), hit-and-run crash, no injuries, US 10 near North Brye Road, Amber Township.

– 8:45 p.m., (MCSO), a 13-year-old Pentwater boy sustained non-life-threatening injuries after the dirt bike he was operating in a field struck a hole and overturned, 7800 block of East Sugar Grove Road, Sheridan Township.
