3rd annual Stratford on the Avenue Theatre Festival begins this weekend.

LUDINGTON — The Stage Left Theatre Company and House of Flavors Restaurants will present the third annual Stratford on the Avenue Theatre Festival at Rotary Park in Ludington on Friday, July 27, Saturday, July 28, Friday, August 3, and Saturday, August 4 with performances at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 29 and Sunday, August 5 with performance time at 2 p.m.

The production will feature local actors in outdoor performances of Shakespeare’s “As You Like It”, with a humorous, abridged adaptation of Macbeth, called “Macbeth & Sons Auto Sales, LLC” as the opener.

Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the gate and may be purchased by visiting Eventbrite.com. There will also be an auction held at the performances of a basket containing donated items and gift certificates from area businesses!

The event is produced annually to benefit a local, non-profit organization or event. This year’s beneficiary is the Ludington Area Center for the Arts.
