WSCC to hold special meeting to accept construction bids.

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — The West Shore Community College Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting Monday, July 23. One of the agenda items is to take action on accepting bids for construction projects on four college-owned buildings at a cost of $3.6 million. The projects include an addition to the Technical Center, upgrades to the West Shore Community Ice Arena, the Schoenerr Campus Center, and the newly purchased Regional Public Safety Training Center, located at 6050 N. US 31 in Sherman Township.

The projects are funded through the capital budget with the Technical Center Project also receiving funding from the State of Michigan. The present Technical Center Project bids are for the welding lab addition and the remainder of the Technical Center Project will be bid at a later date with construction during the summer of 2019.

The meeting will take place at 5 p.m. in the Administrative and Conference Building on the main campus.
