LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

– Michael William Judd, 41, of 132 Terra Circle, North Muskegon, was found guilty July 10 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend the next session of the Victims’ Impact Panel (VIP); no alcohol/drugs; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs); and $895 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

-Corrie Lynn Cook, 40, no address listed, of Ludington, was found guilty on July 19, 2018 of disorderly person, public intoxication and was sentenced to serve one day in jail with credit for one day served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; $285 fine/costs; 12 months probation.

– Kaija Schae Luusua, 23, of 3619 W. Hansen Rd., Amber Township, was found guilty July 10 of operating a vehicle while impaired and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend the next session of VIP; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and $895 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

-Bobby Jo Scheel, 36, 10283 N. Dickenson Road, Walkerville, was found guilty on July 19, 2018 for allowing a person with suspended/revoked driver’s license to drive and fined $335.

– Eric Michael Heath, 37, no address listed, pleaded “no contest” July 10 to domestic violence and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 23 days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must seek and maintain employment; no contact with the victim; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and $595 in fines and costs. One count of aggravated domestic assault was dismissed.

-Clifford Raymond Walkley, 55, of 7111 S. Martin Road, Branch Township, was found guilty on July 19, 2018, for driver transporting an open intoxicant and was sentenced a fine of $265.

-Gary Lee Mallion, 68, 908 N. Emily St., Apt. A4, Ludington, was found guilty on July 19 for allowing a person to drive in violation of Michigan PA 300 and was sentenced to $335 in fines/costs.

– Tex Howard Bebee III, 33, of 637 Hamilton Rd., Branch Township, was found guilty July 10 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend the next session of VIP; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and $325 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Ethan Joseph Anderson, 27, of 143 N. Jebavy Dr., Pere Marquette Township, was found guilty July 16 of disorderly person – public intoxication and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; must continue counseling with Community Mental Health (CMH); and $285 in fines and costs.

– Steven Luke Dykman, 23, of 7021 Wever Rd., Branch Township, was found guilty July 16 of illegal disposal of solid waste and was sentenced to $185 in fines and costs.

– Mark William Cornett, 58, of 874 Clarendon, Aurora, Illinois, was found guilty July 12 of possession a fish without a license and was sentenced to $250 in fines and costs.

– Stephen John Sommers, 54, of 3063 Fairfield Lane, Aurora, Illinois, was found guilty July 12 of possessing a fish without a license and was sentenced to $250 in fines and costs.

– Christian Jonathan Steiger, 25, of 75 N. Stiles Rd., Amber Township, pleaded “no contest” July 12 to disorderly person – public intoxication and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year probation; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and $285 in fines and costs.

– Evan Michael Jensen, 33, of 1934 E. Fountain Rd., Sherman Township, was found guilty July 12 of stray/loose/running dog and was sentenced to $160 in fines and costs.

– Lester Lyle Pitcher, 70, of 235 Maple Rd., Branch Township, was found guilty July 12 of operating an ORV on a public highway and was sentenced to $245 in fines and costs.

– Matthew John Sicken, 47, of 52246 Birch Crt., Chesterfield, Michigan, was found guilty July 12 of trespassing with an ORV and was sentenced to $275 in fines and costs.

– Bryant Ray Selby, 31, of 543 S. Walhalla Rd., Branch Township, was found guilty July 12 of stray/loose/running dog and was sentenced to $160 in fines and costs.

– Matthew Peter Stock, 52, of 1711 Hadley Rd., Lapeer, Michigan, was found guilty July 12 of ORV – open intoxicants and was sentenced to $265 in fines and costs.

– Deanna Marie Sommers, 54, of 2353 Stoughton Circle, Aurora, Illinois, was found guilty July 12 of fishing without a license and was sentenced to $250 in fines and costs.

-Paul Campbell Bowers, 34, 2755 M Dr. S., Athens, Mich., was found guilty on July 19 of fishing with too many lines and fined $275.

-Ricky Allen Martin, 38, of 623 E. Glen, Peoria Heights, Ill., was found guilty on July 17 for fishing without a license and sentenced to $250 in fines/costs.

 

Dismissals

– Joseph Michael LeClair, 58, no address listed, charges of second-degree home invasion, larceny in a building, malicious destruction of a building $200-$1,000 and fourth-offense habitual offender were dismissed July 11.

– Randall Keith West, 51, of 210 Alger St., Grayling, Michigan, one count of reckless operation of a vessel/reckless skiing was dismissed July 11 after he pleaded to a lesser charge of littering.

– Tammy Jackson Lucht, 45, of 407 Harrison St., Ludington, one count of operating without insurance was dismissed July 11 when she pleaded to a lesser charge of no proof of insurance.

– Carl Hugh Weiler, 29, of 1008 Brookridge Rd., Ludington, one count of operating without insurance was dismissed July 11 when he pleaded to a lesser charge of no proof of insurance.

– Bobby Joe Rees Jensen, 31, of 1934 E. Fountain Rd., Free Soil, one count of truancy was dismissed July 11 “per prosecutor’s deferral agreement,” according to court records.
