Motorcyclist injured after deer related crash.

EDEN TOWNSHIP — Martin Dickenson, 47, of Pentwater was injured in a motorcycle/deer crash Monday morning, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. The crash occurred about 10:55 a.m. on Custer Road south of Meisenheimer Road. Dispatch information stated that Dickenson had driven the motorcycle into a ditch after the incident with the deer.

Dickenson was transported to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital by Life EMS. His wife, Jessica, reported on MCP’s Facebook page that Martin had suffered mainly road rash, but was expected to recover. According to the initial 911 dispatch, he was wearing a helmet.

Responding to the scene were Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Riverton Township Fire Department, Custer Fire Department, and Life EMS.
