Miss Mason County competition applicants being accepted.

SCOTTVILLE — Contestants are being sought for the 2018 Miss Mason County pageant, to be held during the inaugural Scottville 10 & 31 Celebration on Friday, July 6, at 7:30 p.m. at the Scottville Clown Band Shell. The Miss Mason County replaces the former Scottville Harvest Festival Queen competition, since that festival has been combined into the 10 & 31 Celebration.

Contestants must be an unmarried female between the ages of 16 and 20 and must be a resident of Mason County or attend a Mason County school or college, or have graduated from a Mason County school or college.

The winner of the competition will receive a $500 scholarship while the runner-up will receive $250.
