LUDINGTON — The following proceedings recently occurred in 79th District Court:

Arraignments

Felony

Boger

– Joshua Michael Boger, 40, of 410 Avon Ct., Davison, was arrested May 26 by the Scottville Police Department for a felony of third-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI). Preliminary exam: June 13 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Jessie Myron O’Connor, 37, of 7079 E. Sandra Kaye, Sheridan Township; Mason County Sheriff’s Office; marijuana possession. Pretrial: June 11 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Arturo Ysabel Lopez, 34, of 2280 E. Ferry St., Shelby; MCSO; driving while license suspended (DWLS) and failure to stop at an accident. Pretrial: June 11 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Madison Nichol Brewster, 17, no address listed; Ludington Police Department; domestic violence and minor in possession of alcohol. Pretrial: June 25 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Aneysha Shavon Boatwright, 22, of 685 Kahill Dr., Baldwin; Michigan State Police; driving without insurance. Pretrial: June 11 at 11:30 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

Sentencings

– Sheri Lynn Jordan, 35, of 144 S. Division, Grand Rapids, was found guilty May 23 of two counts of attempted assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and one count of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 11 days served; one year discretionary jail for one year; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; must attend next session of the Victim Impact Panel (VIP); no alcohol/drugs; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs) and drug tests; and $1,070 in fines and costs. Operating while impaired conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Bret David Zacharda, 48, of Ludington, was found guilty May 23 of second-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; one year discretionary jail for one year; must attend next VIP session; no alcohol/drugs; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; must attend AA two times a week for one year; and $1,450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
