Man saved from drug overdose.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 36-year-old Mason County man who was suffering from a drug overdose in the 100 block of Stiles Road Sunday, May 6, at 3:30 p.m. was saved through the administration of NARCAN, according to Michigan State Police Sgt. Charles Hockanson.

MSP was assisting medical personnel on scene who administered the NARCAN, which is nasal spray that counteracts the life-threatening effects of an opioid overdose.

No other information was immediately available.

– 11 a.m., (MSP), car/turkey crash, US 31 and Oceana Drive, Summit Township.

– 7:42 p.m., (MCSO) an 18-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and his 24-year-old passenger, also from Ludington, was arrested for possessing an open alcohol container, Atkinson Drive, City of Ludington.

– 8:02 p.m., (LPD), reckless driving, Stearns Road and and West Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.

– 9:45 p.m., (LPD), reckless driver, North Lakeshore Drive and Stearns Road, City of Ludington.

Sunday, May 6, 2018:

– 12:19 a.m., (LPD), disturbance, 400 block of North Ferry Street, City of Ludington.

– 6 p.m., (MCSO), a 40-year-old Fountain man was arrested following an assault on multiple traffic warrants out of Clinton and Lake counties, One Atkinson Drive, City of Ludington.
